On April 28, 2025, the Sierra Leone National Debt and Fiscal and Taxation System Management Capacity Building Training Course visited the New Area and had a meeting.

在座谈会上，平台相关负责人详细介绍了湖南湘江新区国际营商环境及合作成果。他强调，湘江新区致力于构建“1+N”开放型经济综合服务体系，未来将深化与塞拉利昂的产业对接，推动双边互利合作。现场气氛活跃，代表团就农产品推广、青年项目合作、政府间合作等方面展开了交流，并将在会后进一步洽谈。

During the meeting, representatives from the International Science and Technology Business Platform of Hunan Xiangjiang New Area (Changsha High-tech Zone) introduced the business environment of the New Area, as well as the construction philosophy and operational model of the platform. They emphasized that the new area is committed to building an “1+N” open economic comprehensive service system and will further strengthen industrial cooperation with Sierra Leone to promote mutual benefits. The person in charge of the China-Africa Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base also provided detailed information on the base’s operational model and supporting services.The atmosphere on the spot was lively. The participants had discussions on aspects such as the agricultural products promotion,youth program collaboration ,cooperation between the governments and so on. Further negotiations will be held after the meeting.

下午，塞拉利昂代表团一行分别参观了湖南一特医疗股份有限公司和湖南高升宏福家具有限公司两家企业。参观过程中，代表团展现了对一特的医疗产品以及高升宏福家具的现代化家居的浓厚兴趣，并希望有进一步的合作。

In the afternoon, the delegation from Sierra Leone visited two enterprises, Hunan Eter Medical Co., Ltd. and Hunan Gaosheng Hongfu Furniture Co., Ltd., respectively. During the site visit, the delegation demonstrated keen interest in Eter Medical's healthcare products and Gaosheng Hongfu Furniture's modern home furnishing solutions, while expressing intentions to explore concrete collaboration opportunities in these specialized sectors.
